Inside Sales Associate

The Inside Sales Associate is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and engaging with prospective clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings. This role requires excellent communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to manage multiple leads through the sales funnel. This is a great opportunity for a candidate starting their sales career, with a growth path to our Direct Sales team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, competitive, driven, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to analyze territory and develop a strategic plan for outreach. Use provided tools to seek out new relationships and conduct outbound prospecting to generate new business opportunities with brokers and employers in assigned territory
- Maintain individual activity targets, such as outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn touchpoints to maximize pipeline development
- Deliver creative benefit administration solutions by helping to define client needs, propose and present solutions. Own the sales cycle from proposal to closing, pulling in internal resources as needed
- Prioritize opportunities and align on strategy with the Inside Sales Team Lead
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Develop sales skills, including outreach, presentation, negotiation, objection handling, and closing skills
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and meeting activity, pipeline, and sales in the Dynamics365 CRM. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition of new clients and maintain quality work that exemplifies and promotes the company’s core values
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1–3 years of inside sales or related experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to learn and articulate product knowledge effectively
- Self-starter with a competitive mindset
- An individual that understands the value of providing a high level of customer service

Pay
Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET with an hour lunch. Roles may be approved for other schedules by managers. This role operates in a professional office environment based out of our Charlotte office (off West Morehead) (5 days in office). This role is mostly sedentary and consists of prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. This role also utilizes other tools such as a phone, copy machine, and printer. Common programs often used are Outlook, Word, and Excel. This position frequently communicates with FloresHR team members and candidates and must be able to exchange accurate information clearly in these situations.
