About the role
This role is responsible for strategically engaging with inbound leads and existing customers and fostering customer relationships. The role collaborates with the sales team, guides customers through the sales process, and contributes to business expansion and success.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a deep understanding of the organization’s portfolio, including products, services, and promotional campaigns, to provide accurate and relevant information to customers.
- Utilize the organization’s sales tools and processes effectively, ensuring accurate tracking and management of leads and opportunities.
- Receive customer request calls and effectively sell the organization’s offerings to the installed base.
- Understand the client’s procurement processes and decision‑making criteria, leveraging this knowledge to win new business and maintain existing relationships.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts, uncovering potential for growth and taking ownership of new leads.
- Collaborate with assigned sales representatives for complex sales scenarios or when competitors are directly engaging with customers face‑to‑face.
- Engage in solution‑based selling, addressing complex customer requests across multiple products or services and presenting comprehensive solutions.
- Own strategic entry points at the customer level that align with overall business objectives, fostering deeper relationships and expanding opportunities.
- Guide leads through the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing deals.
- Utilize data and analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, making informed decisions to optimize sales performance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED) or higher secondary education, or equivalent work experience.
- 4–6 years of related work experience, preferably in inside sales, tele‑sales, or a related field.
- Preferred certification: Certified Inside Sales Professional (CISP).

Pay
The on‑target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $26.82 to $38.25 USD per hour with a 60%/40% salary/incentive mix. Pay varies by work location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
