Inside Maintenance Staff / Overnight

About the role

Inside Maintenance Staff reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and performs general upkeep and cleaning tasks throughout the casino facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance of the casino, inside and out.
• Pick up and empty all trash receptacles and ashtrays.
• Wipe down and clean machines.
• Dust all machines, signs & televisions.
• Clean and stock all restrooms and janitor closets with supplies and maintain throughout the day.
• Keep all maintenance equipment in working condition.
• Pick up trash and empty outside trash containers.
• Sweep sidewalks of trash and debris.
• Maintain a positive attitude.
• Assist in other areas as needed.

Requirements

• Entry‑level position.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.
• Sit and/or stand continuously for a full shift with a lunch break.
• Requires bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting, pulling and finger dexterity.
• Move objects up to and exceeding 25 lbs. (with reasonable accommodations).
• Work in a casino environment (exposure to cigarette, cigar, pipe smoke; bright flashing lights; loud mechanical noises and crowds).
• No allergies to cleaning soaps, detergents or other specified cleaning chemicals.

Schedule

• Requires morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.
• Monday through Sunday.
• Requests to be scheduled off for a specific day require advance notification and approval by department manager/director or general manager.
