CNC PROGRAMMING & SETUP

Review, edit, and optimize CNC programs (lathe and mill) using G-code and CAM platforms. Set up, align, and secure workpieces, fixtures, and tooling on CNC and manual machines. Conduct first-article runs and validate programs to ensure dimensional accuracy and repeatability.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum eight (8) years’ experience machining complex submarine, aerospace, defense, nuclear, or similarly critical components in a precision or defense manufacturing environment.
• Ability to develop new programs or machining strategies across manual and/or CNC machines.
• Ability to conduct first-article runs and validate programs for dimensional accuracy and repeatability.
