Inside Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer SVC Tech
Job Summary
Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanics to join our team at multiple locations. This role involves performing essential maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and completing associated paperwork.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks along with documentation
- Repair and maintain heavy duty trucks and trailers
- Perform PM Inspection, brake job, brake chamber and slack adjuster replacement, wheel seal replacement, and wheel end adjustment
- Examine all system parts for damage, wear, and safety issues
- Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation in a timely manner
- Accurately fill out work order forms, ensuring all necessary parts are included
- Follow safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of diesel mechanic experience
- Federal Annual and Brake Inspector certification required (within 6 months of hire)
- Pass background check and drug screen
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to read technical manuals and instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer service-oriented
- Ability to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment

Pay and Schedule
Competitive pay and commission. Diesel and Heavy Duty Mechanics are eligible for a $3,500 retention bonus.
Schedule
Hours may vary based on location and shift requirements.
