About the role

Inside Sales Representatives are crucial members of the Star Nursery team. They provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with product recommendations and shopping needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service
• Answer customer questions
• Recommend products and materials to meet customer project needs
• Follow operations standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete/on-time service
• Manage multiple priorities and perform tasks as assigned
• Perform stock checks, restock shelves, and maintain store appearance
• Make orders and handle warehouse activities such as receiving and stocking

Qualifications

• Effective and relevant work experience in lawn and garden centers or similar industries
• Honest and hardworking attitude
• Able to work long hours in various weather conditions
• Pass a drug test due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Physical abilities: frequent bending, twisting, standing for 100%, walking for 99%, climbing for 10%, and handling up to 35 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally, and 10 to 25 pounds constantly
