About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is an opportunity to expand your role in health care by providing quality care focused on the comfort and well-being of patients and families. As an LPN at MultiCare, you will work in collaboration with your team to ensure the best possible outcomes and patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate care utilizing nursing education and knowledge of normal states of growth, development, and aging.
• Deliver and execute daily routine care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups utilizing strong interpersonal skills.
• Assist the Registered Nurse or care team in implementing the nursing process.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington State or Multistate license endorsement (MLS).
• Current BLS certification.
• License to pass medications may be required.
• Previous LPN experience in an acute care setting within the last three (3) years preferred.
• Experience in assigned specialty, or successful completion of a specialty-focused residency post hire.
• Successful completion of appropriate competencies for assigned specialty.

Pay

The pay scale is $35.01 - $57.86 USD. Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.

Schedule

FTE: 0.6, Shift: Nights, Schedule: Rotating weekends.
