Inpatient Tele Psychiatrist
Job Summary
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an Inpatient Telepsychiatrist to join their outstanding Psychiatry Care program. About the Role
This role focuses on providing optimum patient care within Baylor Scott & White's award-winning integrated health care system. The ideal candidate will partner effectively with referring physicians, agencies, and other professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric care to patients via telemedicine platforms.
- Collaborate with referring physicians, agencies, and other professionals to optimize patient care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and develop treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and guidelines.
Requirements
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine.
- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board.
- Board certified in Psychiatry or effectively pursuing board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
- Alternatively, must show effective pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
- While not required, fellowship trained in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry is strongly preferred.
