Inpatient Rehabilitation Occupational Therapy Assistant

Role: Occupational Therapy Assistant in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. Responsibilities include: Collaborating with OTs and an interdisciplinary team to deliver therapeutic interventions.Implementing individualized treatment plans to aid patient recovery from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic conditions, and other complex illnesses.Instructing patients in activities of daily living (ADLs) and use of adaptive equipment.Documenting patient progress and outcomes accurately.Educating patients' families to support ongoing recovery.
