Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN)- Operating Room- Rotating Shift

About the role

The team provides patient care and supportive services directed towards achievement of positive patient care outcomes, maximizing the patient’s involvement in his/her own plan of care and reducing the length of hospitalization.

Responsibilities

• Manages and provides care to the patient and his/her family.
• Directs and supervises nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team.
• Affirms the patient’s involvement in his/her own plan of care.
• Ensures the provision of safe, effective, and efficient care.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of nursing interventions.

Requirements

• Maintains current Ohio RN license.
• Maintains ongoing compliance with mandatory educational and health requirements.
• Maintains computer skills required to meet job functions.

Qualifications

• 2- year College Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a major in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program is preferred.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit required.
• 2 years of experience in relevant care setting is preferred.
