Inpatient Pharmacy Technician

About the Role

Trinity Livonia, a 304-bed acute care hospital in Livonia, MI, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide daily pharmacy technical services to inpatients, outpatients, and other Health Center departments. This role operates under strict time constraints and requires responding to routine and emergency requests promptly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily pharmacy technical services to inpatients, outpatients, and other Health Center departments.
• Respond to routine and emergency requests in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Exercise a moderate amount of independent judgment and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
• Utilize good communication skills and mandatory IV compounding skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of six months of hospital or retail pharmacy experience or completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program.
• Licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Michigan is required.
