About the role
Seeking a certified Pharmacy Technician III to support ambulatory infusion pharmacy workflows in a specialized oncology environment. Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and providers to deliver safe, timely, and patient-centered cancer care. The role involves preparing medication orders, assisting with dispensing, sterile and non-sterile compounding, inventory management, and maintaining documentation. Serve as a department resource for complex issues, support process improvements, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain quality assurance standards and documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Assist in medication preparation, workflow management, and compounding tasks.
- Support inventory activities including storage, ordering, and rotation.
- Take primary responsibility for specific tasks or areas, including system maintenance and staff training.
- Pursue proficiency in complex sterile preparations and additional responsibilities.
- Perform multiple technician duties across the pharmacy, focusing on process and policy improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2–5 years of experience; 5–10 years preferred.
- State Board Pharmacy Registration and Pharmacy Tech Certification required.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Schedule
- Work Monday to Friday in 8-hour day shifts.
