Inpatient Pharmacy Technician 2

About the role

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to join a collaborative pharmacy team. In this role, you will support safe medication dispensing, including sterile and non-sterile compounding, medication preparation, and distribution. You will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to enhance patient care, manage inventory, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining quality assurance standards and documentation
• Preparing medication orders and performing compounding tasks
• Utilizing automated/electronic systems for inventory, patient records, and compliance
• Supporting inventory management activities
• Pursuing proficiency in sterile preparations and advanced skills

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of experience (preferred 2-5 years)
• State Board of Pharmacy registration
• Pharmacy Technician Certification

Schedule

Monday through Friday during the day, with weekend and holiday rotations.
