Inpatient Pharmacist
Job Summary
Well-respected hospital is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join its pharmacy team. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, energetic, and committed to supporting a positive, professional patient care environment.
Assignment Details
- 16-week contract
- Variable schedule (24/7/365 operation)
- Primarily day and evening shifts
- Washington Pharmacist License required
Responsibilities
- Inpatient order verification using Epic
- Final product verification
- Answering clinical questions and providing drug information
- Oversight of pharmacy technician functions
- Participation in Code Blue and emergency response activities
- Support of specialty/oncology infusion services
- After-hours outpatient dispensing support (limited formulary)
Qualifications
- Active Washington Pharmacist License
- Direct inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Experience with Epic and Pyxis preferred
- Knowledge of USP 797 and USP 800 standards
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical pharmacy skills

Pay and Benefits
- Pay Range: $75.00 - $85.00/hr
