About the role
Atrium Health MSKI Lincolnton offers a team of board-certified orthopedic surgeons and non-operative sports medicine physicians. The opportunity primarily involves inpatient care, including rounding, discharge planning, emergency department procedures, consults, and follow-up care. The Advanced Practice Professional (APP) may occasionally assist in the operating room or outpatient clinical setting as required.
Responsibilities
- Rounding and discharge planning for inpatients
- Emergency department procedures and consults
- Follow-up care coordination
- Occasional assistance in the operating room or outpatient clinic
Requirements
- Prior orthopedic experience preferred
- Active North Carolina licensure (PA or Acute Care NP)
- Must possess or be eligible for a DEA license
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program
- NCCPA certification (PA) or national board certification (Acute Care NP) preferred
Qualifications
