Inpatient Medical Psych Nurse - Faulkner
About the role
A per diem RN must be able to work- 16 shifts every 6 months, 4 need to be weekend shifts. 2 South is our 24 bed locked inpatient psychiatric unit. This unit takes on a multidisciplinary approach where you will get the chance to collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists and licensed alcohol and drug counselors. On this unit, we see a patient population of 16 and older.
Qualifications
- BSN required
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required
- BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers required
- Minimum of 1yr inpatient psychiatry experience required
- Have ability to work compassionately with persons who experience behavioral health issues
- Membership in a professional nursing organization preferred
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients
- Demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities
- Able to adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. standards

Pay and Benefits
Pay Range $41.36 - $100.00/Hourly
Grade RN3500
