Job Summary
Join Portsmouth Regional Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) PRN. Support registered nurses in providing hands-on care and creating a safe, welcoming environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- High School Graduate/GED required
- New Hampshire Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) license required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
What You Will Do
- Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort
- Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
- Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked
- Manage supplies, equipment, and logs for infection control and team readiness
- Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team
