Job Summary

Join Portsmouth Regional Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) PRN. Support registered nurses in providing hands-on care and creating a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

Qualifications

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • High School Graduate/GED required
  • New Hampshire Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) license required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

What You Will Do

  • Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort
  • Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
  • Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked
  • Manage supplies, equipment, and logs for infection control and team readiness
  • Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team
