Inpatient Lead Pharmacy Tech

About the role

Lead or coordinate shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates. Serve as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties as associates they lead. Assign, monitor, and review progress of work. Monitor and report compliance with policies and/or procedures. Oversee daily activities of the pharmacy technicians under the direction of the pharmacists and management.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Registration with the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board required. Must provide proof of application to register with the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board and once registered, must be maintained.
• Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Preferences

• Must be PTCB certified in WI.
• Must have 2-3 years of pharmacy experience.
