Inpatient Headache Unit Nurse - Per Diem - Days

Role: RN in an inpatient headache unit, providing comprehensive patient care and assessment. Responsibilities: Assess patients and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.Develop and coordinate individualized care plans ensuring safe, effective, and timely interventions.Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing with all stakeholders.Tailor patient and family education based on thorough assessments to meet specific needs.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills: Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited program.Current Illinois nursing license.CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Key Duties: Deliver patient-centered nursing care, ensure effective communication, uphold standards, and contribute to quality improvement efforts.
