Responsibilities

  • Review medication orders for safety and appropriateness
  • Ensure timely medication preparation and delivery
  • Counsel patients to promote adherence
  • Maintain compliance with regulations
  • Supervise pharmacy support staff
  • Offer clinical consultation to healthcare professionals
  • Identify process improvements to enhance patient safety and satisfaction

Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
  • Valid pharmacy license
  • Knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws
  • Effective communication, people management, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in integrated healthcare systems
  • Board certification
  • Health system residency

Physical & Additional Requirements

  • Ability to read labels, use computer systems, and manipulate pharmacy supplies accurately
  • Strong verbal communication skills for interactions with staff and patients

Pay

Competitive hourly rate ranging from $62.89 to $92.44.
