Inpatient Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist | Full-time W2 | Shreveport, LA
Position Overview
Brentwood Hospital provides an inpatient mental health program for children 4–12 in need of around-the-clock access to care and supervision in a comfortable and compassionate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for geriatric/senior adult patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
Qualifications
- Education: M.D./D.O. with Board Eligibility/Certification in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Training: Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency and Child/Adolescent fellowship program.
- Licensure: Louisiana medical license in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.
