Inpatient Board Certified Behavior Analyst - OMC, Jeff Hwy - FT
About the role
We provide supervision and direct, one-to-one treatment for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or other behavioral conditions admitted to the hospital. The role aims to provide continuity of services while inpatient, work with the healthcare team to tailor care to each patient's needs, and promote communication, academic, social, and behavioral skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, therapeutic services to patients via parent skills training, direct one-to-one therapy, and/or group social skills training.
- Maintain designated workspaces by organizing, cleaning, and supplying appropriate materials.
- Audit and supervise ABA Line Technicians.
- Provide personalized at-home guidance for parents and caregivers.
- Adapt behavior to the specific patient population, ensuring privacy and clear communication.
- Develop and monitor patient treatment plans and behavior support plans.
- Connect families with community resources to ensure a smooth discharge from the inpatient setting.
Requirements
Required education: Master’s degree in Psychology or Applied Behavior Analysis. Required work experience: 1 year in social service, mental health, rehabilitation facility, or allied health care setting. Required certifications: Board Certified Behavior Analyst through Behavior Analyst Certification Board and Licensed Behavior Analyst through Behavior Analyst Board in the state of practice.
