Innovations Intern (Full Stack/Front End Engineering)

This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20–30 hours per week. The role is office-based with flexible in-office days depending on your schedule.

About the role

As an Innovations intern, you will drive innovation throughout the AEC industry. Reporting to the Innovation Program Manager, you will collaborate with local and national staff to fast-track the development phase of several in-progress innovation projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of innovation projects within the AEC industry.
• Work with team members locally and nationally to advance project phases.
• Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to articulate ideas and meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Data Science.
• Proficiency in programming for web and/or mobile applications, with a clear understanding of software development principles.
• Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as ReactJS and JavaScript.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug code efficiently with strong attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies, with a desire to expand software development skills.
• Effective communication skills for clear collaboration with team members.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Flexible and proactive in taking on assignments and responsibilities.

Pay

New York Pay Range: $25 USD – $27 USD per hour.
