About the role

As an Innovation Strategy Intern at McKesson, you will gain hands-on experience supporting our business by assisting with innovation strategy planning, data collection & analysis, and assessing the competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

Work directly with the Director of Strategic Insights & Innovation to:

• Gather and analyze customer intelligence: Explore primary and secondary customer research methodologies and how to apply them in business settings
• Gather and analyze market intelligence: Conduct competitive market research to uncover trends and use them to formulate product strategy
• Build compelling problem & action statements: Synthesize collected intelligence into evidence-based problem statements that direct future actions
• Gain experience in healthcare strategy: Join a Center of Excellence to learn how healthcare innovation works from start to finish

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field
• Experience assisting or leading research activities, such as interviews, focus groups, statistical analysis, document review, evaluation, etc.
• Excited about complex healthcare challenges
• Solid interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Pay

Base pay range: $17.33 – $28.88
