Ink Technician

About the role

This position is a part of the Specialty Products Division and reports to the Superintendent at the blend plant. This is an hourly, full time, non-exempt position.

Key Functions

• Participate with the Superintendent in all daily activities.
• Typical duties will consist of participation in the production of daily orders.
• Packaging and labeling of the finished product.
• Palletizing and preparing all orders for shipment.
• Calling to schedule a pickup with the trucking companies.
• Cleaning the plant at the end of the day; as well as, other duties as directed.
• There will be also be customer assistance as necessary.

Requirements

• Candidate must be goal oriented, a self-starter and good communicator.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.
• Must possess good math skills and be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively.
• Must demonstrate a sincere interest and desire to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
