Injury Prevention Specialist - Part-time

Position

Physiotherapy Associates is seeking an engaging and enthusiastic PRN Injury Prevention Specialist.

3680 Pleasant Hill Rd Ste 101, Duluth, GA 30096 (on-site in Johns Creek, GA)

Part-time

Schedule

• Tuesday/Friday (9am-1 pm)
• Wednesday/Thursday (1pm-5 pm)

Compensation

• Starting at $23/hr, commensurate based on years of experience

What will you be doing in this role?

• Perform ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
• Develop and deliver employee education and perform audits
• Conduct movement assessments and develop preventative exercise programs
• Engage with new hire employees on education, ergonomics, and injury prevention
• Deliver return-to-work program for employees returning from injury
• Provide early symptom intervention (ESI) care for employees
• Provide health and wellness coaching on a wide range of topics

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
• Minimum one year of experience
• CPR certification
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial setting
