Injury Prevention Specialist (ATC, OT, COTA, PT, PTA)

About the role

Fit For Work is an innovative company within the Confluent Health family dedicated to changing the world of workplace safety and injury prevention. We are seeking an Athletic Trainer/Injury Prevention Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services to prevent and treat injuries in the workplace
• Develop and implement injury prevention programs tailored to client needs
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify potential hazards and injuries
• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement ergonomic solutions
• Train employees on proper lifting techniques and ergonomics
• Document all assessments, treatments, and progressions in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Participate in regular meetings with clients to discuss injury prevention strategies and progress

Requirements

• License required: Certified Athletic Trainer, Occupational Therapist, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist, or Physical Therapist Assistant
• Desire to change the world of workplace safety and injury prevention

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in assessing and treating athletic injuries
• Ability to develop and implement injury prevention programs

$60,000 - $72,000 annually
