Key job responsibilities
- Drive injury prevention through data analysis and evidence-based solutions.
- Design targeted ergonomic interventions based on risk assessments and injury trends.
- Lead workplace evaluations to identify and eliminate hazards before they cause harm.
- Transform injury data into actionable strategies that protect associates and optimize work processes.
- Champion proactive health and injury prevention through innovative training and hands-on coaching.
- Deliver engaging ergonomic education empowering associates to make informed wellbeing decisions.
- Partner with operations teams to integrate prevention strategies into daily workflows.
- Create sustainable behavior change through personalized coaching and positive reinforcement.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Must be a Certified Athletic Trainer, by either the Board of Certification (BOC) or equivalent State Certification.
- Must have a valid card evidencing successful completion of a First Aid, CPR, and AED course from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital recordkeeping.
Certification Requirement
Must hold adult First Aid, CPR, and AED certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 3 weeks of start date.
Additional Job Elements
- Lift up to 49 pounds; frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift.
- Work in variable noise levels, temperatures, and weather (including outdoor loading areas).
- Continuously climb and descend stairs (at applicable sites).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an occupational or industrial setting.
- Experience with an industrial wellness program.
