Injection Molding Production Technician

About the role

Pretium Packaging is seeking an Injection Molding Production Technician to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. This position is full-time and offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from 20 to 28 USD.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection molding machines to produce plastic parts according to specifications.
• Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Follow quality control procedures to ensure product meets standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related work experience in injection molding or similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using injection molding machines and related tools.
