Injection Mold Tech
About the role
The Plastic Technician will be required to perform all duties listed in the Essential Duties and Responsibilities section. You must be able to demonstrate your leadership abilities, must be a self starter. You will be performing special assignments which will include; assisting our Manufacturing engineers, working with process improvements, packaging requirements for both new and existing parts and you will assist with Tools trials (this could include from start to finish). You may also be required to assist Technicians on Shift with Mold and Color changes, these directions would be given by the Supervisors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Start-up and shutdown of production orders on all injection molding machines.
- Utilize, edit and improve the Master Set-up Process Sheets.
- Troubleshoot injection-molding processes.
- Aid in training of other Technicians on other shifts as needed.
- Be able to change shifts on a short notice (which includes working 3rd shift for a short time).
- Perform mold, insert and color changes.
- Develop work instructions.
- Submit qualifying parts to the quality lab.
- Work to assist with maintaining our production schedule.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Program, edit, and troubleshoot robot programs.
- Be a team player.
- Communicate and lead effectively (both verbally and in writing).

Pay
Base Pay Range: $24.66 - $29.47
Schedule
Flexible scheduling is available based on business needs.
