About the role
The DMHC Help Center educates members about their health care rights and resolves complaints against health plans to ensure a stable and accessible health care delivery system.
Responsibilities
- Develops, supervises, and evaluates program activities related to IRS’s Initial Review Unit (IRU).
- Guides and implements policies and procedures.
- Reviews program reports.
- Maintains program documents.
- Handles highly sensitive issues related to new complaints.
- Directly oversees the daily IRU staff and activities to ensure compliance with the KKA.
Requirements
The position requires a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.
Qualifications

Skills
The employee should be familiar with DMHC mission, goals, organizational structure and major work programs.
