INGENITEC becomes PRONOMIC

INGENITEC is now PRONOMIC as the Amplex Group strengthens the Pronomic brand on the French market. After Pronomic SAS acquired Ingenitec SAS in May 2023—a leader in lifting and material handling—Pronomic has merged the two companies to solidify its market position.

Ingenitec SAS, based in Montbrison, was founded in 2003 as a distributor and manufacturer of lifting and material handling equipment. With a nationwide sales team, the company specialized in highly tailored solutions for the French market.

This acquisition makes Pronomic SAS the leading distributor of lifting equipment in France, offering proprietary Lift&Drive material lifters and other Amplex Group products such as tube lifters, load manipulators, and lifting tables. The merger leverages a long-standing reciprocal purchasing and sales relationship dating back to 2007, ensuring strong commercial, production, and distribution synergies.

The integration preserves both the Millery and Montbrison facilities to maintain each site’s added value. As of January 1, 2024, the company operates as Pronomic SAS, employing 43 people with its headquarters in Millery, near Lyon.

Pierre Ellow, President of Pronomic SAS, states: “This merger follows an obvious logic and is very natural, given that our product range targets the same users.” Jean-Charles Doublet, Managing Director, adds: “We are surrounded by a fantastic team who share our ambitions in this market for ergonomic handling solutions.”
