Infusion Therapy/Cancer Center - RN - (FT)

About the role

Madisonhealth is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in the Specialty Clinic/Cancer Center setting, including assessment and planning for individualized patient care. The RN must communicate effectively and professionally with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition and respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. The position involves performing general nursing duties and participating in performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Specialty Clinic/Cancer Center setting.
• Assess and plan for individualized patient care.
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding changes in patient’s clinical condition.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Perform general nursing duties in the department.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the State of Idaho.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Oncology Certification (current).
• Cerner experience (preferred).
• Previous Med/Surg experience (preferred).
• Infusion experience (a plus).

Schedule

Full-time day shift: 4x10 hour shifts, variable days as needed.
