About the Role
The Infusion RN Coordinator under the direction of the Englewood Hospital Imaging and Therapeutics Leadership, administers chemotherapy, biotherapy, iron infusions, and other infusions and injections. The Infusion RN Coordinator works closely with Oncologists, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals. This role involves patient assessment, education of treatments and side effects, administration of treatments, monitoring of patient responses and treatment of adverse drug reactions.
Responsibilities
- Administers chemotherapy, biotherapy, iron infusions, and other infusions and injections under the supervision of Oncologists and pharmacists.
- Works closely with Oncologists, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
- Performs patient assessment, educates patients on treatments and side effects, and monitors patient responses.
- Treats adverse drug reactions as needed.
Requirements
- 1-3 years outpatient chemotherapy infusion experience preferred or 2 years' Med/Surg, ER or inpatient oncology experience required.
- IV and port access experience required.
- Must be able to work in a busy work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- NJ RN License.
- Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification preferred.
- BLS certification required.
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of oncology medications and their administration.
- Proficiency in patient education and counseling.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50.00/hr - $65.00/hr, based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
Schedule
This role is full-time with hours of 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday. There are no weekends or holidays.
