About the role

This position will be responsible for accurately and safely preparing and administering intravenous and oral chemotherapy; subcutaneous and intramuscular injections; and other medications as prescribed.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and safely prepare and administer intravenous and oral chemotherapy; subcutaneous and intramuscular injections; and other medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure patient safety and effective treatment outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through continuing education and conferences.

Requirements

• Associates of Science in Nursing required, Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Valid State of Nebraska/Compact State Registered Nursing License is required.
• Two years’ experience in oncology nursing is preferred but not required.
