Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Oncology

This role is for an RN Oncology Infusion Therapy Clinician responsible for delivering safe, evidence-based infusion care to oncology patients. They administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and hazardous drugs in outpatient settings, addressing patients' biological, emotional, and psychosocial needs with culturally competent care. The clinician collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, documents care accurately, and promotes patient-centered, relationship-based practices. Key responsibilities include performing the nursing process, supporting performance improvement initiatives, mentoring colleagues, maintaining ongoing professional development, and participating in research and protocol development. The role requires adherence to professional standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies, with an emphasis on quality, safety, and continuous learning. Travel within local sites is expected, and the clinician may serve as a preceptor to new staff, fostering a skilled and compassionate healthcare environment.
