Infusion Nurse - Outpatient Infusion Suite

About the Role

Soleo Health is seeking a Part-time Infusion Nurse to support our Specialty Infusion patients in The Woodlands, TX. Join us in Simplifying Complex Care!

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, administering IVIG, biologics, and other infusible or injectables as ordered.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Establish peripheral intravenous lines and access/maintain central venous lines (PICC lines, Implanted ports, Midlines).
• Submit clinical records efficiently and timely.
• Prepare and administer medications.
• Triage infusion patient inquiries.
• Travel to other locations occasionally.
• Provide clear communication and collaboration to optimize patient care and clinic operations.
• Participate in performance improvement activities for care delivery enhancement.
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards.
• Manage AIC required documentation.
• Clean and disinfect patient care areas in AIC.
• Manage AIC supplies.

Requirements

• Current RN Licensure by the applicable state’s Board of Nursing, in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution preferred.
• Advanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g., CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not required.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience with a background in infusion therapy.
• Current nursing license for the applicable home state.
• Experience in ICU and/or Cardiac Care preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with no significant restrictions.
• Availability to respond to emergencies during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with IV access devices, including IV lines, accessing ports, and administering infusion medications.
• IVIG Infusion experience preferred.

Administrative Oversight

Responsible for providing administrative oversight, including monitoring workflows, ensuring compliance with policies, and managing resources efficiently to meet organizational objectives.

Schedule

Part-time, 32 hours per week, 4 days per week. Infusion Suite Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm.
