Infrastructure & Systems, Service (Lead) Consultant - Exposure Intelligence

For our client, we are seeking a Infrastructure & Systems, Service (Lead) Consultant - Exposure Intelligence to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will focus on analyzing infrastructure exposures, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations to help reduce risk across server, virtualization, and container environments. You will serve as a key technical resource for identifying exploitable conditions, prioritizing remediation, and partnering with engineering teams to strengthen security posture. The position combines deep technical analysis with cross-functional collaboration to translate risk findings into clear, actionable remediation guidance. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $100,000 – $170,500 annually Responsibilities Analyze vulnerabilities and misconfigurations to form hypotheses on exploitable exposures. Identify attack paths and conditions that increase exposure risk through correlation of findings. Prioritize vulnerabilities based on exploitability and business impact, and provide clear remediation steps. Serve as a subject matter expert for server platforms, hypervisors, and container orchestration. Detect systemic risks such as insecure baselines and cluster misconfigurations. Collaborate with engineering teams to assess and ensure effective remediation measures. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in security or infrastructure engineering, vulnerability management, or cyber operations. Hands-on experience with server and OS hardening, virtualization concepts, and container fundamentals. Ability to interpret technical data and make actionable risk decisions. Preferred experience with Kubernetes security controls and secure configuration management. Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, KQL, or SQL for enhancing exposure analysis.
