Infrastructure Systems Architect

For our client, we are seeking a Infrastructure Systems Architect to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will shape the architecture and roadmap for endpoint management and telemetry across a large-scale healthcare environment. You will partner with engineering and operational stakeholders to establish governance, improve resilience, and drive secure, scalable deployment patterns that support thousands of devices. The position combines hands-on technical contribution with architectural leadership, including evaluating platforms, leading proof-of-concept efforts, and building automation to connect systems and streamline operations. It will also play a key role in aligning technical design with Zero Trust principles and enabling reliable, low-touch provisioning at scale. Success in this role will require deep experience with device fleet management, production coding, and enterprise endpoint platforms, along with the ability to influence standards and execution across cross-functional teams. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $115,000 – $175,000 annually Responsibilities Define the target-state architecture and roadmap for endpoint management and telemetry Establish architectural governance and design review processes Evaluate and enhance commercial endpoint management platforms; lead proof-of-concept work Design resilient systems for multi-tenant deployments and align with Zero Trust principles Write production-quality code and develop automation frameworks to integrate various systems Lead large-scale deployment programs and design zero-touch provisioning workflows Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience 10+ years in systems architecture, platform engineering, or software engineering with a focus on device fleet management Experience designing and operating systems with 10,000+ devices; 50,000+ preferred Proficient in production code with .NET, Go, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript Familiarity with commercial endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune and JAMF Benefits Generous paid time off policy Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) savings plan with employer match Opportunity for occasional remote work Supportive of continued professional development through mentorship Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
