Infrastructure Server Engineer
What's the Job?
Provide system administration for Cisco UCS hardware and VMware environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Support and maintain Windows server environments, including patch management, problem resolution, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
Participate in developing and implementing short and long-term technical strategies aligned with business objectives.
Maintain currency of infrastructure components through regular updates, firmware, and patches for Cisco UCS and VMware systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects related to infrastructure improvements, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, including compute, storage, and networking environments.
- Hands-on experience with VMware ESX, vSAN, vCenter, and Cisco UCS hardware support.
- Proficiency with Windows Server 2019 and 2025 operating systems.
- Experience with backup and replication tools such as Veeam Backup and Replication.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation tools like PowerShell, as well as familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
