About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead major technology upgrade efforts in San Francisco, California. This role will oversee enterprise telephony and audio/visual modernization programs, partnering with technical teams, vendors, and leadership to keep delivery on track and aligned with organizational goals. This is a long-term, on-site contract position for an individual who can bring structure, visibility, and strong stakeholder communication to complex infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Direct concurrent infrastructure modernization projects, ensuring scope, timelines, budgets, and milestones are actively managed from initiation through completion.
  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, monitor dependencies and risks, and drive timely resolution of issues that could affect delivery.
  • Prepare leadership-facing updates that clearly communicate progress, financial status, key decisions, and areas requiring attention.
  • Coordinate with internal technology teams, business partners, and external service providers to keep implementation activities aligned across workstreams.
  • Oversee vendor and contractor performance by tracking deliverables, reviewing schedules, and addressing gaps in execution.
  • Facilitate meetings, status reviews, and decision-making sessions with stakeholders ranging from operational staff to executive leaders.
  • Translate technical project details into practical business impacts and recommendations for non-technical audiences.
  • Support onsite deployment coordination across multiple locations for telephony, AV, and related infrastructure activities.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, dashboards, reports, and presentation materials to support governance and accountability.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience managing large-scale IT or infrastructure projects in complex organizational environments.
  • Proven success delivering enterprise technology initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and visible business impact.
  • Strong ability to manage governance processes, executive reporting, budgeting, and project risk controls.
  • Experience overseeing third-party vendors, consultants, or contractors and holding them accountable to delivery expectations.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated capability to work independently while maintaining momentum in a fast-paced, high-accountability setting.
  • Background in telephony, unified communications, audio/visual systems, workplace technology, or related infrastructure programs is preferred.
  • Project management certification or equivalent credential is preferred.
