Infrastructure Hardware Systems Engineer - National City, CA

About the role

The role involves working with partner companies to source qualified talent for Surface Systems positions within the U.S. Navy. Specifically, you will be part of a team delivering a robust, flexible, secure, and stable infrastructure for U.S. Navy surface ships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure common solutions to complex problems
• Test and troubleshoot computing hardware issues
• Create documentation to support a rigorous engineering and installation process
• Collaborate with your team daily to ensure meeting commitments to the U.S. Navy mission

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
• Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
• Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools
• Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
• Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
• Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
• Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
• Able to travel up to 35% of the time

Qualifications

• Clearance Requirements: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire
• U.S. Citizenship is required

Skills

• Reading and understanding engineering drawings, wiring schematics, parts lists or rack layouts

Target salary range: USD $75,000 - USD $100,000/year

Schedule

This position is fully on-site or hybrid/flex with a minimum of 3 days/week in office. While on-site, you will be a part of the National City, CA office.
