Key Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling and Underwriting. Build and maintain the financial models at the center of each transaction to support our underwriting.
- Due Diligence. Run diligence across the financial, technical, legal, and environmental dimensions of each transaction.
- Transaction Execution. Drive deals through structuring, negotiation, and documentation to close.
- Client Management. Act as a trusted point of contact for our clients and counterparties, building durable relationships and positioning our solutions in the market.
- Market Research and Strategy. Stay close to the developments shaping power and infrastructure finance, and feed them back into how we structure and price what we offer.
Qualifications
- 5+ years across project finance, investment banking, private equity, and/or infrastructure investing, analyzing, structuring, and executing complex transactions in renewable energy and/or digital infrastructure.
- Relentless. Take on more and more and have a knack for finding your way around the complex problems the financial world throws at you.
- Creative where others get stuck. Think naturally in terms of downside cases, risk allocation, and structural mitigants.
- Credit analysis skills are a plus.
- Excited to build. Want to help build the financial platform for the electric age, and to develop the tools and approaches that come with it.
- Strong communicator with executive presence. Explain complexity with clarity and conviction and are comfortable engaging directly with senior counterparties.
- Technology-forward. Energized by using and shaping technology to sharpen underwriting judgment and scale your impact.
- High ownership and low ego. Elevate the teams around you and care about the outcome more than the credit.
Pay
Compensation: In addition to salary and equity, this role is eligible for an on-target bonus of up to 100% of base salary.
