Infrastructure Engineer with Security Clearance

About the Role

Hoplite Solutions is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support mission-facing cloud infrastructure and high-volume data alerting efforts. This role focuses on building scalable, resilient systems, optimizing AWS environments, and strengthening automation, observability, and reliability across distributed platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain scalable, resilient systems to support high-volume data alerting in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Orchestrate containerized workloads using Kubernetes for seamless application deployment and management.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, utilizing services such as EKS, EC2, and S3.
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration.
• Design robust routing and DNS solutions to ensure high availability and performance across distributed systems.
• Handle large-scale data streams and ensure reliable communication between services using messaging platforms like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and enhance operational efficiency using DevOps methodologies.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and implement best practices in cloud security and automation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Kafka, DevOps, EKS, AWS (EC2, S3), Terraform, routing, DNS, Grafana, logging, and alerting frameworks.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana.
• Exposure to DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Experience with scalable applications on Kubernetes.
• Experience handling high-volume data alerts.
• Experience working on large projects in complex, fast-paced environments.
