Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize globally distributed cloud environments, front-to-back services, database layers, and third-party integrations.
- Architect reproducible environments and deployment workflows using infrastructure-as-code paradigms, structured configuration management, and robust CI/CD pipelines featuring automated rollback and post-release monitoring.
- Design and implement comprehensive logging, metrics, alerting, and monitoring frameworks to guarantee high uptime, data correctness, and low latency across the technical stack.
- Secure edge and cloud networks by managing CDN layouts, WAF rules, DDoS defenses, zero-trust network access, secrets lifecycle, and server hardening.
- Establish on-call runbooks, structured incident response protocols, and automated internal tools to boost developer velocity and overall system resilience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of dedicated experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) managing highly available, production-critical environments.
- Deep Linux internals knowledge paired with a strong grasp of web infrastructure, including secure traffic routing, load balancing, DNS, and TLS management.
- Proven production experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management automation tools (such as Terraform and Ansible).
- Hands-on experience with modern data-gathering and visualization platforms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or time-series/columnar database logging).
- Competence in data infrastructure health, including connection pooling, replication models, and structural query performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background supporting low-latency, real-time, or high-throughput API environments.
- Familiarity with financial tech platforms or high-performance transaction processing architectures.
- Hands-on experience scaling data layers (like PostgreSQL) or containerized microservices built in modern, typed systems languages (such as Rust).
- Familiarity with distributed validator nodes, ledger systems, or decentralized web infrastructure.
