About the role

You'll provide on-the-ground commercial management support to ensure the client is financially and contractually protected across all data center projects. You'll manage and report on all commercial issues regularly to maintain transparency and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and report on all commercial issues regularly to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Lead the Cost Trend Management (CTM) process by identifying scope changes, market shifts, and risks impacting project budgets.
  • Ensure EPC teams understand the baseline estimates, including scope, cost, and execution assumptions.
  • Set up cost reporting correctly at design kick-off, ensuring accurate budget breakdowns and CTM data integration.
  • Chair bi-weekly CTM meetings with key stakeholders, drive actionable outcomes, and document meeting minutes.
  • Update the CTM log to reflect cost changes, root causes, and review stages for accurate project tracking.
  • Participate in design reviews to track cost changes from concept to final design stages.
  • Capture and log client-driven changes for review and approval in the CTM process.
  • Support cost estimation, QA cost trend reports, and provide quarterly feedback to improve CTM tools and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering related field AND 5+ years of related experience
  • Must have pharmaceutical experience in addition to at least 7years in a similar or related role.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, experience collaborating with all other areas of the datacenter program with an ability to think strategically and build the trust of our construction partners needed to agree very large construction contracts and final accounts.

  • Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.

Pay

  • $135,000 - $160,000 a year

Schedule

  • As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
