Infra Delivery Install Technician

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex technical scenarios, and implement strategic solutions that keep our network running seamlessly.
• Engage in hands-on technical work that requires creativity, precision, and a passion for technological innovation.
• Maintain proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow well-established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
• Safely use material handling tools and equipment.
• Travel within and outside of the regional work area as required by business needs.

Requirements

• Experience with fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment & troubleshooting methodologies.
• 2+ years of in data center or critical environment in Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, or Data Center Operations experience, or experience in similar technical roles.
• 2+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment including VFL, power meter, and OTDR experience.
• Experience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment).
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Network Engineering), or experience in professional or military IT-related roles.
• Certification in a relevant field (CCENT - Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician, Network+, or CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate), or A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+
• Experience conducting behavioral interviews and hiring.
• Flexible work schedule including evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel to or commute to active data center sites as required by business needs.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds and participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
• Ability to work in an environment that operates 24/7 with an ability to participate in primary responder rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
• Ability to work in cramped and/or elevated and/or noisy environments.
• Ability to bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand and walk for up to 8+ hours a day.
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation.

Base salary range: $30.00 - $54.00 USD hourly
