Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Aid in the design, development, and implementation of control systems for various projects.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and test control algorithms and software.
- Participate in the troubleshooting and debugging of control systems.
- Support the integration of hardware and software components.
- Conduct research and analysis to improve existing control systems.
- Work with controls and automation equipment.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports.
- Attend a weekly departmental meeting.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and review sessions.
- Perform any and all additional responsibilities as required or assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of control systems, automation, and instrumentation.
- Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or MATLAB is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Education And/or Experience Qualifications
- Full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Physical Demands
- Daily tasks may include using hands to handle materials and equipment, reaching with hands and arms, and communicating verbally.

- Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 20 pounds may be required.
Work Environment
- The work environment may involve occasional exposure to airborne particles and vibrations.
- The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
