About the role
The Information Technology Instructor is responsible for teaching computer science courses at the university level.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate computer science courses
- Develop and maintain course materials
- Mentor students and provide academic support
- Participate in departmental committees and initiatives
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science or related field
- At least 3 years of teaching experience at the college/university level
- Strong teaching and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Qualifications
- Passing score on the GRE
- Experience with online learning platforms
- Knowledge of current trends in technology and computing
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with educational technology tools
