About the role
The Data Engineer will expand, optimize, and monitor our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimize data flow and collection across organizational teams. The Data Engineer will support software engineers, database architects, and data analysts on data initiatives, ensuring optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture to support next-generation products and data initiatives.
- Integrate large, complex data sets that meet functional business requirements.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
- Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into member growth, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
- Perform other job-related duties as required.
Requirements
- Proficiency in data transformation, data structures, metadata management, and workload management.
- Experience in the development of SSIS, ETL, and other standardized data management tools.
- Experience with SQL, Oracle, and Azure cloud services.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to work in a high-tech, continually evolving, innovative environment.
- Successful completion of a Health Care Sanctions background check.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Project management skills preferred.
